About Our Service Plans

Standby generators are a great backup plan in case your power goes out, but these units are only reliable if they are properly installed and maintained. Attempting a DIY installation, or neglecting basic maintenance tasks are two of the most common reasons why generators fail.

Back up your backup power supply with a service plan from the experts at Cannondale Generators. We have more than 25 years of experience and have installed more than 7,500 generators in the Fairfield County area. After installation, one routine maintenance visit per year is recommended to keep your generator in tip-top shape. This is why we recommend our Scheduled Maintenance Program to all of our customers.

Generator Scheduled Maintenance Program

Our Scheduled Maintenance Program is a flexible, cost-effective way to ensure that your generator will be able to provide you with power when you need it most. The maintenance plan comes with an initial 75-point inspection, and another one every year thereafter. This includes basic tasks such as:

  • Check oil levels and adding when necessary.

  • Check oil filter.

  • Check battery.

  • Check coolant levels, and alkalinity of coolant.

  • Check hoses and belts.

  • Start unit and check voltage, frequency, battery charge rates, etc.

Generator Service and Maintenance Fine Print

  • Any parts, lubricant, coolant, etc. used to perform maintenance will be charged to the generator owner at the current rates.
