Strongest Storm: Hurricane Maria

Maria packed a serious punch throughout the Caribbean and it hit the island of Dominica with Category 5 force. It is one of the strongest storms ever recorded and it intensified on a North-Northwest path at an alarming rate. Puerto Rico may never recover from the wreckage and nearly EVERY structure on the island of Dominica was destroyed. Power has still not been restored.

Scariest Moment for America

Hurricane Irma was on a path for Miami with Category 4-5 force and the peninsula of Florida looked to be in serious trouble. Millions evacuated Southern Florida and the Keys with just days remaining before the blow. Luckily, the storm took a westward turn and grazed the Western Coast of Florida. It still caused MASSIVE damage in the Keys and coastal areas, but the worst was avoided. If the 2017 season can’t convince you that you need a generator, we don’t know what will.
