Abilis is a non-for-profit organization that focuses their efforts on enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities. In addition to working with families and schools throughout Fairfield County CT and Westchester County NY, Abilis provides employment services and residential support to adults in more than a dozen homes across Greenwich and Stamford.
Installing and Maintaining Standby Generators for Abilis
Over the past several years, Cannondale Generators has worked very closely with Abilis, installing and maintaining standby generators at six of their group homes in Greenwich.
A few months ago, Abilis made the decision that the power supply at their headquarters needed protection, too. They reached out to several generator contractors requesting quotes, and ultimately chose Cannondale due to our previous relationship and competitive pricing.

After waiting for the generator to arrive from the factory and obtaining the proper permits from the Town of Greenwich, we were all set to get started once the generator arrived. Between the electrical work, plumbing, concrete, and trench work, the job took three weeks to complete and required several of Cannondale’s factory-trained employees.
After everything was put into place and all the dust had settled, the final result was everything Abilis had hoped for: a professionally-installed standby generator.
